262 Clutch
Hi I have a 262 with a slipping clutch. I have stripped it down to the clutch but the whole clutch is stuck to the flywheel just seems to be rusted in, any ideas how to free it.

Do you mean the clutch drive plate is stuck to the flywheel after you have taken the pressure plate off?

Hi the pressure plate is stuck to the flywheel so the complete clutch won't come off.

Re: 262 Clutch
Hi You should be able to get the clutch pressure plate off then its just the clutch plate to force off the flywheel i would go back a stage have you got the throw out bearing loose and the clutch forks removed and all the outer ring of bolts removed i think its every 3rd bolt is a long one and has to be removed screw the short ones back in with all removed you should be able to put a great shock load on the clutch face by hammering on a block of wood in all directions mike
