I am looking at a 1981 Leyland 802 tractor.
In what ways are the Leyland 802 and Marshall 802 similar or different?
Thank you.

Re: Leyland 802 - Marshall 802
If the tractor is a "Rebuilt" Leyland then there is very little difference, but as Marshal said at the time "Better built by Marshall". A number of Leylands were rebadged as "Marshall", they retained the Leyland serial number plate.
On the other hand if it is a Marshall, Gainsborough, built tractor then there are a number of "Improvements", See attached chart for the differenced brought in at the commencement of production. A load of other improvements were introduced as time went by, the main one being a much improved hydraulic system and the Hi-Lo sandwich box at the front of the gearbox.
I have probably missed a few items.
