Hi, From memory 100mm pistons have the tapered "Keystone wedge" top rings but the 95mm pistons have parallel top rings.

There are two different top rings available for the 95mm piston, a parallel one, and a tapered one. The difficulty here is that I know I need a parallel top ring, but the one which is supplied is too thin. However, according to the books the supplied ring has the correct thickness.

I could not find any additional info why I have such rare? piston top ring grooves, but my local engine shop has helped me and gave me a contact (www.thn.nl) and the correct rings (95x3.17) should arrive today! :)
