The Nuffield and Leyand Tractor Club

Post by JohnP »

Hi All

It is with some sadness that Pam and Graham, who own the Nuffield and Leyland Tractor club, have decided to call it day. The club will probably be wound up by Christmas 2022. They have been unable to find anyone to take the club on with all the hard work that this entails.

The web site will close at the beginning of September 2022, this will include the "Contact" technical information service that I provide and look after. I must say that technical questions have begun to dry up with Facebook fast becoming the "Go to" source of help and information. I will continue to add my thoughts and advice on Facebook as and when required.

I would urge anyone who requires hard copies of the available "Information" to download and print your requirements before the web site closes.

RIP the club web site!!

JVP

A great pity but a very big thankyou to all involved. The information on this site has been priceless to me and, no doubt, countless others. It will be missed.

Hi, The Club came along about a decade after I got my first Nuffield, and JVP arrived and the information site about a decade afterwards.
Life will be odd without them!

Hi Its been there ever since i have been poking about. its a shame we are loosing it and the info . Remember back a few years we nearly lost this group and the info built up over the years So i for one will say PLEASE Jeroen will you work your magic and save it here in our files like you did for us all before. I read back through some of the info and remember old friends that are no longer posting its like reading a good book with lots of good info spread along the way Mike

There are options that various members are looking at to take the club over and carry it on. It is NOT A FORGONE CONCLUSION THAT THE CLUB WILL FINISH AT CHRISTMAS. So please do not be hasty and we will keep you posted. Also it has come to my notice that I am DECEASED. I am not and I am still doing all kinds of tractor registrations. I am afraid it is Thomas Andrew that has died, this gentleman was from Cornwall and he did registrations.

Hi all.

Good news!! The Nuffield and Leyland Tractor Club web site lives on. I have been informed by Pam and Graham that it will be supported for at least another year.

That is all that I am aware of at the moment!
